
Belgian’s Jasper Philipson won the 112nd Tour de France on Saturday.
This was the 10th career stage win of 27-year-old Alpasin-disencine cyclist, but for the first time he captured the yellow jersey of the race leader.
Philipson completed most of the flat 184.9 km around Lily Metropol, just beyond the Lily Metropol of Binium Girme and Soren Verencold, Norway.
Slovenia defending champion Tedes Pogkar finished 18th and Denmark’s two -time winner Jonas Winggard finished 20th.
Tour de France resumes again with Stage 2, which is a 209.1 km trek from Lauvin-Planak to Bulogne-Sur-Mer.
