James Wood’s Walk-Off HR 11 lifts citizens on Rockies

James Wood hit a two-run walk-off shot at the bottom of the 11th innings, his second domestic run of the game, and Washington’s citizens on Thursday snatched their 11-game losing streak with a 4-3 win against Colorado Rockies.

Jacob Young put a pinch of pinch relay adams against Seth Halvarsen (1-2). With Infield Inn, Michael Toglia made a diving stop on CJ Abrams Grounder for the first base and organized by Young, who brought Wood, who hit the two -run homer in the fourth.

Toglia reached Colorado 11th position against Ryan Loutos (1-0) and runner Ryan McMahon scored it 3–2.

McMahon did two hits for Rockies, who won four directly after May 2024.

The Rockies started walking to load the hideouts with two single and two outsiders at the top of the fourth, but Trevor Williams took Brenton Doyle to the ground to play a force.

In the lower half, Abrams took a single and a homer with wood to the center, which was at the center of its 19th season for the benefit of 2–0.

Colorado quickly tied it. Orlando Arcia sang with one in the fifth and scored on a double by Jordan Beck. Mickey Moniyak scored a single to right, Beck with a tying run.

McMahon moved to sixth place and with one, Dial doubled him. Coal Henry replaced Williams and hit Sam Hiliard and Archaea to end the danger.

Zach brzykcy retired the first two Rockies in 10th. Hunter went to Goodman, but Braziksi hit McMahon on a 3–2 pitch.

Alex Call rose 10th against Ryan Rollison and placed the automatic runner Brady House in third place. Along with Infield, Pinch Hotter Amede Rosario dropped out and KeeBert Ruiz also got out.

Williams gave two runs on eight hits in 5 1/3 innings. He hit six and one went away.

Chase Dollander played six innings for Rockies, leading to two runs on six hits.
