Jalan Brunson, Nax again 3-1 Celtics last rally for shore

Jalan Brunson scored 26 points out of his 39 points in the second half and New York Nix on Monday night became the first domestic team to win the series in the series to gain a 3–1 lead in the Eastern Conference semi-final match on Boston Cultics 121-113.

Carl-Anthony Towns also added 23 points and 11 rebounds and Mikal Bridge in 23 seconds for Nax, who recovered from the 14-point third quarter deficit. OG Anunobi did some important plays while contributing 20 points.

Brunson also had 12 assistance for third seed New York.

Boston’s star Jason Tatam maintained a potentially serious ankle injury in the competition. Tatam had 42 points, eight rebounds, four aids and four theft. He knocked on seven 3-pointers for second seeded cultics, who took away the 20-point leads, leaving the first two matches of the series.

Deric White scored six 3-pointers and scored 23 points and Jelane Brown added 20 points and seven rebounds for Boston. Petan procard had 12 points for Celtics.

Nixes can build the best-seven series with a win in Game 5 in Boston on Wednesday night.

Anunoby drilled a tiebracing 3-pointer with 5:52, which was left to start a decisive 14–2 spirt.

A jumper made it 111–104 in lanes by bridges, and Ennobi added a theft and sting and extended the gap to 113–104 to 3:03. Tatam was injured on the latter game and grabbed for her ankle and indicated for the timeout with 2:58.

Tatam was helped to remove from the floor with its right leg placed in the air and was later pushed into the locker room sitting on a rolling chair.

Brunson danced to a tray to cap and sealed all at 116–104, with 2:25 remaining.

New York was connected at 54.3 percent of its shots and 12 out of 34 (35.3 percent) from the back of the arch.

Boston has 18 out of 48 3-point efforts (37.5 percent) and 38 out of 38 (43.2 percent) in the last two competitions, 25 out of 100 out of 100 of their early two failures. Overall, Celtix made 48.1 percent of his shots in Game 4.

Boston led 72–58 after White’s 3-pointer, which remains with 9:06 in the third quarter, before the niches exploded 30–13 in the rest of the period.

32.1 seconds left with 32.1 seconds Annobi gave New York a lead of 86-85, the host’s first lead since the initial quarter. Josh Hart added a pruning with 3.5 seconds, before the bridges opened the fourth quarter with a small jumper and gave Nix a 90–85 lead.

Tatam drilled the 3-pointer, with 8:22 with the score 96. Tatam knocked Boston after another tray 65 seconds to give the benefit of one point, and later converted to tie a three-point play with 6:12 to tie it to 102.

Tatam (20 First-Haf Points) and White (17) each created four 3-pointers, as Boston led 62–51 in the break. Brunson led Nix with 13 points in half.
