Houston Astro on Saturday placed outfielder Jacob Malton in a 10-day injured list in one of the five roster moves.
The 24-year-old Malton on Friday sprained a right ankle during Houston’s 10–3 win over Minnesota Twins.
On Friday, a triple and three RBI, including Malton, are stealing .241 with six RBI and three in 11 matches.
In 2022, a second round of draft pickle, Malton, out of the state of Oregon, made its major league on 1 June.
Astros also selected the Infielder/outfielder Shay Whitcomb on Triple-A Chinese land and transferred the right-handed Spencer Arrigetti (thumb) to the 60-day injured list.
To fill the 26-man roster of Saturday, Houston selected outfielder Cooper Samal and Infielder Louis Guilorm from Chinese land.
