Ivan Longoria is ready to retire as Ray next month

East-round pick and three-time all-star third baseman Ivan Longoria will declare his retirement in a Tampa Bay Regree next month.
39 -year -old Longoria is retiring as a ray during a pregem ceremony on 7 June before a game against Miami Marlins.
Longoria last played in Major for Erizona Diamondback in the 2023 season, a run that included the appearance of the second world series of his career. He was at the end of losing both times.
He played 10 seasons with San Francisco Giants (2018–22) before five sessions.
Longoria ends in 1,986 games in 16 sessions with a.264 average, 342 domestic runs, 1,930 hits and 1,159 RBI.
He was named the American League Ruki of the Year with rays in 2008, leading the team in the world series against Philadelphia Philos. He is also a three -time gold glove winner.
The rays drafted the Longoria number 3 in 2006 outside the Cal State Long Beach.
