In Ahmedabad, Heat took his toll on the players during the Titans vs Delhi Capital IPL 2025 match of Gujarat. Many players, including Exer Patel, Prasad Krishna, were seen struggling with cramps. However, it was experienced GT Pacer Ishant Sharma who was struggling the most. He was on the edge for most parts and a commentator mentioned ‘Heat Stroke’. However, Ishant Sharma, who is 36 years old, completed three overs and took one wicket.

Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill won the toss and selected the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the prestigious Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday to bowl first against the Delhi Capital (DC) in the 35th encounter of 2025. The Gujarat-based franchise is currently third with four winning in their six matches (8 points), while the ex-Patel-led sides are sitting at the top of the IPL points table after winning five out of their six matches (10 points).
“We will bowl first. It’s very hot. The wicket looks very good. If you do not keep much grass, it will be a rift. Things are going well. We do not think much about the past. It is about starting the day. It takes a few weeks in the jail. We are going with the same team.
Delhi Capital captain Exer Patel said that if he had won the toss, he would have been selected to bowl before.
