After a Caesarfire agreement between India and Pakistan, the Indian Premier League (IPL) may resume as soon as possible. Most of the foreign recruitments in the IPL franchise left for their respective countries on Saturday after the BCCI’s decision to suspend the league. “The ceasefire has been announced. Now we find out the possibility of resumption and closing the IPL. If it is possible to operate it immediately … then we need to work on the dates of the site and everything, and now we will talk to all the stakeholders, including the team owners, broadcasters, and all involved and how to find a way to find a way to find a way to find a way.

According to a report by the Times of India (TOI), IPL 2025 is expected to resume by Thursday or maximum Friday.

The report said, “The Indian Cricket Board suspended the cash-rich league due to cross-border tension, but will now take time for normal.

The report said that the franchisees will now start their arrangements as per the guidelines prescribed by the BCCI.

“Yes, foreign players were nervous, but it was more due to the closure of the airport and all. They were patiently listened to the franchise and were completely confident, but it was afraid of the shutdown of international airports, which caused great nervousness,” TOI quoted a source close to development.

Meanwhile, BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said that after comprehensive evaluation of the situation in consultation with relevant officers and stakeholders, the revised programs and updates about the locations will be shared for the remaining of the tournament.

The suspension of the IPL comes in view of India’s missile strike, which targets terrorist infrastructure across the border in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

On 22 April, attacks were carried out in response to the Pahgam terror attack, in which 26 people lost their lives.
