IPL has been a life-changer for me: unaccounted Delhi Capital Star Vipraj Nigam Debut season

The Delhi Capital all-rounder Vipraj Nigam feels that the ongoing IPL has brought a lot of changes in his life, and said that he got the dressing room by sharing the dressing room with the great people of the game to learn, he will definitely help him in his newborn career. The 20 -year -old Nigam, who was selected by DC for Rs 50 lakh, has been impressive with both bat and ball in the IPL. While reflecting the life -fasting experience of sharing the dressing room with senior players, Nigam said: “There have been many changes in life. With IPL, things always change – you get a chance to share the area with such big, senior players, to know how they go about things, and to experience their attitude.
“These are all new experiences for me, and I will try to apply equal learning in my game.” Nigam praised the DC coaching staff for providing clarity about his all -round ability.
“Even when I was selected by the capitals of Delhi, I had discussed with my coaches and management. He always told me that he saw me as an all-rounder. He saw my batting in league and domestic cricket, so the message was clear-while I would have expected 2-4 overs, I also had equally focused on my batting,” he told Jiohotor.
“From our practice, that role was well defined well. Coaches constantly asked me to work on both aspects of their game.” Barbanki’s young cricketer, Uttar Pradesh credited his childhood coach for shaping his cricket career.
“I have played the UPT20 league. The best thing for me was that I got support from my coach. He helped me understand that if you are a bowler – and if you are unable to hit sixes or are unable to finish the game – you limit your overall development. Spending with him helped me develop as a player,” said Nigam.
He believes that there was a significant turn in his development as a bowler at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
“When I went to NCA after playing for my kingdom, the coaches there really helped me grow. I went as a batsman, but I practiced both batting and bowling.
“As a leg-spinner, he asked me to start taking my bowling seriously. Earlier, I used to bowl only 2-3 overs as a part-timer, but after going to NCA, this mentality completely changed,” Nigam concluded.
