IPL 2025 suspended, what is the way forward for foreign players – explained

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season has been suspended indefinitely for several media reports, after increasing military tension between India and Pakistan. After the competition between Punjab Kings (PBK) and Delhi Capital (DC) in Dharamshala – Between Blackout in Hill Town after missiles and drone attacks from Pakistan in Jammu and other areas, cricket has taken a backseat, prioritizing the safety of players and employees. According to a report by Australia -based newspaper Sydney Morning Herald, the increasing number of Australian players has expressed its concern and wants to leave India as soon as possible, especially near sensitive border areas.
According to PTI, reliable IPL sources have revealed that all foreign players want to go home as soon as possible.
