IPL 2025: Sign Uril Patel as an injury replacement for CSK dynasty Bedi




Super Kings of Chennai have signed Gujarat wicketkeeper-boss Uril Patel as a replacement of Dynasty Bedi, which has been excluded from the remaining part of the IPL due to a ligament tear in his left ankle. Patel made headlines in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, when he broke the fastest T20 hundred of 28 balls by an Indian against Tripura. The 26 -year -old has scored 1,162 runs in 47 T20 matches. He was part of the Gujarat Titans Squad in the first 2023 season. Patel joined CSK at a base price of Rs 30 lakh.

With just two wins from 11 outings, CSK has been terminated from the playoff race. He is going to face Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans in the remaining fixtures.

Replacement for Sunrisers Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) signed Harsh Dubey as a replacement for the injury to Saharan Ravichandran, the WHI has been excluded from the injury to the remaining of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

Dubey, who is an all -rounder and plays for Vidarbha in domestic cricket, has joined SRH for Rs 30 lakh. He has 127 wickets and 941 runs against 16 T20, 20 List A and 18 first -class matches against his name.

To take 69 wickets and score 476 runs, left-arm-spin all-rounder Dubey won the 2024/25 Ranji Trophy to win the tournament award in Vidarbha.

Dubey was part of the trial in Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad before IPL 2025.

Interestingly, Smaran joined SRH last month, which was the injured Adam Zampa as a replacement based on Rs 30 lakh.

Smaran, who played for Karnataka in domestic cricket, has played seven first -class games, scoring an average of 64.50 on an average of 500 runs, including a dual century against Punjab.

He has also played 10 List A Games since his debut in 2024, scoring an average of 72.16 with two hundreds, while he has scored 170 runs in six T20 matches at a strike rate of 170.

Smaran was one of the breakout stars of the 2024-25 Vijay Hazare Trophy, scored an average of 72.16 in seven innings and a strike rate of more than just 100.

SRH, who is on the verge of elimination with only three wins in 11 matches, will host Delhi’s capitals in a bid to push their IPL 2025 campaign on Monday evening.
