IPL 2025 playoff landscape for all 10 teams after KKR vs. DC match

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Tuesday won the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 campaign against Delhi Capital (DC). Delhi, one of the most consistent aspects in this season, has now lost three of their last five matches, showing signs of veins in the decisive phase of the campaign. DC’s defeat against KKR has made a lot of space for additions and combinations to decide that four teams will seal a place in the playoffs. If the result had gone in another way, the teams would have received a significant shock at the bottom half of the points table.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB): With already 14 points in its kitty, the franchise -led franchise is very close to confirm the playoff spot. But their real fight is to cement a top -2 location to get some opportunities for the final merit. With the remaining 4 games, RCB needs to win 2 of these games to assure only top 4 locations.
Mumbai Indians (MI): With 6 wins in 10 matches, Mi ranks second in the points table. The most influential is that Hardik Pandya -led side has won 5 matches on the Trott. Out of the remaining 4 matches, 3 wins will guarantee them the top 4 positions but 2 wins are also likely to be sufficient.
Gujarat Titans (GT): With 6 wins in 9 matches, Gujarat has been one of the highest in-form and coherent aspects in this campaign. With 5 games to go, Shubman Gill -led side needs to win at least 2 of these games to seal only the top 4 locations. Three in the remaining league games and winning will guarantee them the top 4 finish.
Delhi Capital (DC): With 4 defeats in their last 6 matches, Delhi Capital finds himself at the disturbing place. Thanks to his outstanding start for the campaign, however, the ex -Patel -led side is still ranked 4th in the points table. They need at least 2 more win from the remaining 4 league games to remain under the top 4 race control.

Punjab Kings (PBK): With 5 wins in 9 matches, Punjab Kings have launched a topss-torv campaign. A washed encounter against Kolkata Knight Riders placed him in 5th position with 11 points in Kitty. With the remaining 5 matches, Punjab should win at least 3 more. A run of such results will be seen qualifying them for the playoffs. 2 wins can also be sufficient.
Lucknow Super Veteran (LSG): Cashing Cash on Rishabh Pant has not earned Lucknow the result that he was wanted, but the franchise still has a practical opportunity of the top 4 finish. They need to win at least 3 out of their remaining 4 games of the league campaign to seal the top 4 locations.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR): To give a favorable result against Delhi, the night ride had to be excavated deeply. With 4 more matches to go, winning at least three of them is absolutely mandatory for Ajinkya Rahane -led side, 4 would be ideal.
Rajasthan Royals (RR): Still within the mathematical scream of a top 4 finish, Rajasthan Royals will collect 14 points on the board. If they win, they go to the streak of a right victory from there. However, their qualifications will still depend on the teams above them so that those decisive games can be lost to make a place for their merit.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH): One of the favorite before the onset of the campaign, but the SRH pre-seasons failed to remain preaching. With 5 games to go, the landscape is very clear for the party -led side of Pat Cummins. They cannot take the risk of losing a single game from here, otherwise, their campaign will end.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK): The season for MS Dhoni’s men is practically finished, with only 2 wins in 9 matches. Even if Super Kings win their remaining 5 games, they will only get a total of 14 points. With a net run rate of -1.302, it is unlikely to be enough for the top 4 finish. However, a thin possibility remains.
