The Indian Premier League (IPL) was suspended indefinitely due to increasing tension between India and Pakistan on Friday. After alert alert in neighboring cities of Jammu and Pathakot, a cloud of uncertainty had troubled the future of the ongoing edition since the cancellation of Thursday’s match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capital in Dharmasala Midway.
A BCCI official told PTI, “It doesn’t seem good that cricket goes ahead during the country being in war.”

On Thursday, a blackout was implemented in several districts, including reports of raids like Pathankot, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Hoshiarpur, Mohali and Sangha area Chandigarh in Punjab, including reports of raids such as explosion and explosion in Jammu.
