IPL 2025 Full modified schedule, location and time: no match in Chennai, Hyderabad; Last in …

According to the revised schedule on Monday, the BCCI decided to resume the IPL season at six places from May 17 with the final slate on June 3. The IPL was stopped on 8 May after the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi capitals, when Pakistan was attempted to attack the Indian air space near Chandigarh, forced to a blackout at the stadium. However, board officials decided to resume the league after India and Pakistan, which agreed to the ceasefire in their border struggle.

The board said in a statement, “BCCI Tata is happy to announce the resumption of IPL 2025. After comprehensive consultation with the government and security agencies, and with all the major stakeholders, the board has decided to move forward with the remaining part of the season.”

Here is a complete IPL 2025 revised schedule:

On starting the league again, the first match will be between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders in Bengaluru on 17 May.

As per the revised program, there will be six places for league matches: Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Mumbai.

The places for the playoff matches will be announced at the latter date.

However, the playoff matches have been announced and according to the schedule, the qualifier will be held on May 29, followed by the eliminator on 30 May.

The qualifier will be played on June 1, followed by the title match two days later.

A total of 17 matches will be played at six places and the revised schedule includes two double-headers, which will be played on two Sundays.

Availability of foreign players

After suspending the league, many foreign players with the IPL franchise left for their domestic countries and some were in transit.

Now, teams will have to re -collect them, at least as much as possible, before 17 May. However, some players may stay back, especially some swallows.

Australia’s Paer Josh Hazlewood’s return plan, who play for RCB, may be impressed by a shoulder swallowing, forcing him to sit out of the house game against Chennai Super Kings.

However, it remains to be seen how many Australian and South African Tests regularly return to the league, which starts on June 11, given their possibility in the World Test Championship final at Lord’s.

Pat Cummins (SRH), Kagiso Rabada (GT) etc. are some names that are frontline Test players of Australia and South Africa respectively.

Struggle with tour of India for England

The revised IPL dates also collide with a tour of England with Scheduled India, where they will face Lions in two four -day matches till May 30 and 6.

Some of the first choice testing players and contenders are expected to be selected in a squad in India before the England team tour starting on June 20.

We wait to see how BCCI will address this inequality as India will announce a squad in a day or two.
