The IPL 2025 restart date is outside. Cricket Body said in a statement, “The Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) is pleased to declare the Tata IPL 2025 again. After comprehensive counseling with the government and security agencies, and with all the major stakeholders, the board has decided to move forward with the remaining part of the season.”
“A total of 17 matches will be played at 6 places starting from May 17, 2025, and will conclude in the final on June 3, 2025. The revised schedule includes two double-headers, which will be played on two Sundays.
The playoffs have been determined as follows: qualifiers 1 – 29; Eliminator – 30 May; Qualifier 2 – 1 June; Last – 3 June “
“The site details for the playoff matches will be declared in the latter stage.
“The BCCI once again takes an opportunity to salute the bravery and flexibility of India’s armed forces, whose efforts have enabled a safe return to cricket. The Board confirms its commitment to the national interest, ensuring the successful completion of the league.”
