IPL 2025: B set to pay tribute to Indian armed forces to perform as B Praak BCCI

The Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) is set to honor the Indian Armed Forces at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharmasala on Thursday. India’s Apex Cricket Council will pay tribute to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 confrontation between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capital. The IPL match between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians on May 11 in Dharamsala has been transferred to Ahmedabad due to the closure of Hill Town airport in view of military action against terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan.
Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) Secretary Anil Patel confirmed development to PTI. The game will be played in the afternoon.
Patel said, “BCCI requested us and we accepted. Mumbai Indians are coming later and Punjab Kings’s travel plans will be known later.”
Punjab Kings played the role of Delhi’s capitals in Dharmasala on Thursday.
Dharmasala Airport has been closed for at least 10 May till at least 10 May in view of India’s military attacks on terrorist infrastructure inside Pakistan and Pakistan.
It remains to be seen how both Punjab Kings and Delhi capitals are thrown out of Dharamasala with a closed flight operation in the picturesque city. With the closure of Chandigarh Airport, teams need to find a way to go to Delhi.
Like the Punjab Kings, the capitals of Delhi are also prescribed to play on May 11 when they face Gujarat Titans at home.
A Punjab Kings official said that the BCCI is not yet aware of the franchise on the site change.
“We have not heard from BCCI yet. We can only detect travel plans after full clarity.” Punjab Kings are certainly definitely to make their first IPL play-off since 2014.
