Do you agree with the decision to postpone the Indo-Bangladesh White-Ball series?
“BCB is ready to welcome India in September 2026 for this curiosity series. The revised dates and fixtures for the tour will be announced in the appointed time.”
The decision follows the weeks of speculation, especially as a tour, part of the ICC’s Future Tours Program (FTP), was scheduled to begin in Dhaka on 17 August. The political upheaval has grown since the diplomatic tension between India and Bangladesh increased, which excluded former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in August 2024. These events, logistic and security concerns, play a role in postponation. While India last hosted Bangladesh in a red and white ball chain at the end of 2024, the upcoming white-ball chain was eagerly estimated as an opportunity to host a full-power Indian side of Bangladesh.
