The Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) is set to delay the announcement of Squad for India for two of its practice matches in England before India’s five -match Test series in June. However, according to the report, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurlel are to be included in a squad in India. Both players play for Rajasthan Royals (RR), who have already ended with the playoff race.

Jaiswal was India’s most successful test batsman in 2024, but he never played Test cricket in England.

The BCCI source said, “The selectors are curious that Jaiswal gets some match practice in English conditions before the first Test.”
