Indians who are a part of County cricket in 2025

1. Yuzvendra Chahal

The spinner will return to Northamptonshire for his second County stint and will play in the Championship and One-Day Cup. Having made his debut last year, Chahal managed to take 19 wickets in 4 games. Apart from a 5/14 against Kent on his List A debut, he recorded best figures of 9/99 in the game against Derbyshire. However, Chahal has been left out of the playing XI in the game against Middlesex on Sunday.

2. Ruturaj Gaikwad

Ruturaj Gaikwad has signed up with Yorkshire to play for them in the County Championship Division One. The tournament will restart on June 22, but Gaikwad will join in July, with a match against Surrey at Scarborough being his first-ever County match. Gaikwad will also be available for selection for Yorkshire in the One-Day Cup, which runs from August 5 to September 20. Despite taking part in domestic tournaments in India consistently, the CSK skipper has been unable to break into the Test squad.

3. Ishan Kishan

Another out of favour Indian cricketer who has signed up for a County stint is Ishan Kishan. The Jharkhand keeper-batter will be making his County debut after signing up for Nottinghamshire on a two-match deal. The wicketkeeper batter comes in for Kyle Verreynne, who will be unavailable due to national duties. Kishan will play against Yorkshire from June 22 to 26 at Trent Bridge and Somerset from June 29 to July 2 in Taunton.

4. Tilak Varma

Following the footsteps of Gaikwad, Tilak Varma signed up with Hampshire and is expected to play in the County Championship Division 2. Tilak is expected to play four first-class matches for Hampshire. This means he’ll be in England from June 18 to August 2, the entire duration of the 5-match Test series. He may stay further back and play in the One-Day Cup as well.
