India-Pakistan tension to influence IPL 2025? Report makes a big claim after Operation Sindoor




The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season, currently going to 25 May, will continue normally, the Source for the Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) for Cricket (BCCI) told ANI on Wednesday. It follows development this morning after the successful execution of Operation Sindoor by the Indian Armed Forces and tension between India and Pakistan after the Pahgam terror attack on 22 April. In ‘Operation Sindoor’, India’s armed forces used special accuracy to destroy nine terrorist goals in Pakistan and POK in a coordinated strike.

Sources have revealed that Indian forces targeted and displaced four sites in Pakistan, including prominent places in Bahawalpur, Muridke and Sialkot, while five other targets in Pakistan -occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK) were also successfully hit.

The Indian Army, Navy and Air Force jointly operated, collecting property and soldiers.

The attacks on all nine goals were successful, the sources further disclosed. Indian forces selected places to target the top Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET) leaders involved in sponsoring terrorist activities in India.

It marks the most important military action in New Delhi’s Pakistani region over five decades.

In 2022, the tournament took place in India, but only four places, in Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata and Ahmedabad.

It was only from 2023 that the IPL was once again taken across India.

On Tuesday night, Titans in Gujarat defeated Mumbai Indians by three wickets in a thriller at Wankhede Stadium.
