Former India cricketer changed cricket Pandit Dinesh Karthik, revealing the conversation with Virat Kohli before the start of the Edgbaston Test in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.Karthik revealed the chat with Kohli how the Test captaincy brought him the best as a batsman.Karthik said on Sky Cricket Podcast, “I met him a few days ago and we were usually chatting. But the fact that I am getting my captaincy, was the best thing for my batting.”Karthik then compared Kohli’s remarks what India’s new Test Captain Shubman Gill had said about batting and captaincy.
Karthik said, “Why am I saying that the same line was also used by Shubman Gill.”“He said, I used to bat differently. But now, when I got the captaincy, I am almost, when I am batting, I think it is my team – instead of that I want to do something personally as a batsman – what I thought I thought, wow.“Now, this is something that is to notice the world of cricket, because there is a man who has hunger, who has skills, which has got technology.“But now she has found the mindset, which says, I am a captain. I am going to lead from the front, leading the front leg. And we saw in the last Test match.“I am sure that we are going to have a lot of Test matches to see him.
