Famous commentator Harsha Bhogle rejected speculation that he was kept away from the IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans on Monday, which was due to the complaint of the Cricket Association of Bengal, insisting that he was only imperialists for two sports in Kolkata, which was over. His clarification came a day after the cab letter to the BCCI, about 10 days before its secretary Naresh Ojha, appeared in media reports. In the letter, the body asked the commentary panel to remove Bhogle and New Zealand’s Simon Dole for matches in Kolkata, as he said that the Eden Garden Pitch was not helping the local franchise Kolkata Knight Riders.

“Some unfair conclusions are being prepared about why I was not in yesterday’s game in Kolkata. Quite bus, it was not in the list of matches that I was down to!” Posted on Bhogle ‘X’.

He said, “The issue would be resolved by asking me. Roasters are done before the tournament started. I was rose to two games in Kolkata. I was for the first time and a disease in the family stopped me from finishing 2nd,” he added without specifying the Games.

KKR played against Gujarat Titans at Eden Garden on Monday and lost by 39 runs.

KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane and head coach Chandrakant Pandit both have demanded a more spin -friendly track at the venue and expressed their disappointment over not being given a track for their attack with Varun Chakraborty, Sunil Narin and Moin Ali.

After throwing his weight behind curator Sujan Mukherjee, the cab suggested that KKR should find a new base, given that Mukherjee was not meeting the team’s requirements.

Bhogle also said that KKR was entitled to take advantage of the house.
