Igor Jesus, Botfogo harassed PSG in Club World Cup

Igor Jesus scored the first half goal, leading to Botfogo on Thursday 1–0 during the reign of European champion Paris St.-Germen at the Club World Cup in Pasadeena, California.

The result leaves Botfogo (2–0, 6 digits), Group B alone. The PSG (1–1-0, 3 digits) is ranked second with Atletico Madrid, who defeated Seattle Soundlers 3–1 on Thursday.

In the decisive moment of the game, Jefferson Savarino of Botfogo rolled a pass from midfield to half of the invasion. Jesus ran on a ball between the Paris St.-Germen defenders, then took a shot from above the 18-yard box that jumped once and nest in the lower left corner of the net.

Botfogo goalkeeper John made two savings to register a clean sheet. Gianluigi Donnarumma of PSG closed three shots.
