Former Indian cricket team batter Virender Sehwag, in the ongoing IPL 2025, excavated a brutal excavation on Glenn Maxwell and Liam Livingstone. While Royal Challengers Bangalore included Roman Shepherd in place of Livingstone, Maxwell has not portrayed Punjab Kings in the last few matches. Sehwag said that both cricketers ‘do not have the desire to fight for their teams’ and even said that they look like an IPL which is like a holiday for them.
“I think Maxwell and Livingstone are hungry. It is Yahan Holiday Manene AAT, Holiday Banakar Chel Jet is.
He said, “I have spent time with a lot of former players, but only 1 or 2 really realized me that, ‘Yes, I really want to do something for the team”, he said.
While Maxwell has scored just 41 runs and has taken 4 wickets, Livingstone has scored just 87 runs.
Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Virat Kohli surpassed Australian legend David Warner, who became a player with fifty-plus scores in the history of IPL.
Virat completed this milestone during his match against Punjab Kings (PBK) in Mulanpur.
During his knock, Virat earned 73* in 54 balls, with seven fours and one six. This was his fourth fifty in eight innings this season. His run came at a strike rate of 135.19.
This was Virat’s 67th fifty-Plus score in the IPL, including eight centuries. On an average, he has scored 8,326 runs at a strike rate of 39.27 and 132.26. His best score is 113*.
He has a warner who has 66 fifty-Plus scores (including four half-centuries). The third highest fifty-plus score by a player in the IPL is Shikhar Dhawan (including 53, including two centuries).
During this IPL, Virat has scored, 36 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), 59*against Rajasthan Royals (RR), 62*in 45 balls against Rajasthan Royals (RR), and 73 in 54 balls against Punjab Kings (PBKS) 73*. He is the third largest run-goldter this season and RCB’s highest, an average of 64.40 in eight innings with 322 runs and strike rate at 140.00. He has scored four half -centuries. His best score is 73*.
