Gujarat’s Titans Lavender Jersey vs. LSG to support the fight against cancer




Gujarat Titans (GT) players will donate special lavender jersey for their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 home game, which will be against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Narendra Modi Stadium on Thursday to support the fight against cancer. Ahmedabad -based franchise said in a statement, “While continuing this novel initiative for the third consecutive year, Titans aims to raise awareness about the important importance of early identity and access to quality care for cancer patients.”

“The match against Lucknow Super Veterans is going to be a special as Gujarat Titans have not only planned to bat for cancer and bats for patients, but have also distributed thirty thousand lavender flags and ten thousand lavender jersey to unite fans.”

GT captain Shubman Gill, who b. The 93 unbeaten knock with Sai Reformson’s 108, which was his way of expressing his solidarity with the special tribute cancer warriors in a not out commanding 10-win win against Delhi Capital.

Colonel Arvinder Singh, COO of Gujarat Titans, said, “This is the third consecutive year. Gujarat Titans are batting for cancer awareness. We are happy to our fans who have shown constant support for the early diagnosis, and have shown constant support in resonating the message and pre-and-care for cancer.

“On May 22, Ahmedabad will echo the message of solidarity from thousands of spectators in the fight against cancer, as we aim to learn about awareness that cancer can, in any form, be fought and defeated with proper care,” he said.

With 18 points in 12 games, Gujarat Titans are designed to finish on top of the table if they win their next two domestic matches – against LSG and Chennai Super Kings (on 25 May).
