Golden Nights, Wild Play to focus on Game 3 in the opening-round series

Vegas Golden Nights coach Bruce Cassidi stopped for a moment when asked what message he would share with his players after landing in Minnesota.
Golden Nights won game 1 in their best seven Western Conference Quarter Finals against Minnesota Wilde on Sunday. But then they decreased in Game 2 on Tuesday, established an important third game as the series turns to North in St. Paul on Thursday night.
Cassidi stated that the Sport 3 was to focus on focusing as possible.
“We are not going to talk about history and all that items,” Cassidi said. “It’s 1-1.
“But we are much more concerned about game 3 than being worried about the entire series right now. How do we return to the winner’s circle?”
Meanwhile, Minnesota is expecting the winner to stay in the circle.
Wilde will once again show Kiril Kaprizov and Matt Boldi to proceed to the top. Caprizov has two goals and three assistance in the series, while Boldy has a team-high three goals to go with a assistance.
Only one other player on Wild has more than one point in the series. This is further Ryan Heartman, who has raised a pair of assistance.
Minnesota coach John Hines praised his players, but indicated that he could still make changes.
“We know how we need to play to become a successful team,” said Hines. “Now, we are found to be constantly on it and construct it. This is important. We want to continue to be better and better because the series moves forward.
“We can see some different things, possibly. I think sometimes you can see your 5-6 (defensive) pair as a series moves, is there something that you want to customize or want to change? Or do you want to keep it equal? Do you put a player and give a break to a player?
Vegas is headed by the Center Tomas Hurtle, who has two goals and one assistance in the first two competitions of a series. Four Golden Nights players have two points, including two goals further Brett Howen and one goal and Defenseman Noah Hanifin with a help.
If Golden Nights protect the puck better, Cassidi said, they should be in good condition.
“This is a game of mistakes, so you will never be right,” said Cassidi. “But we should be better in some areas, which we do with puck.
“Some things are always going to happen, but we are not blowing up everything and saying that hey we have got to change our way of playing. We’ve got to take care of the puck just for the beginning.”
The Golden Nights goalkeeper Edin Hill is 1–1 with the 3.03 goal average and one .833 save percent in the first two matches. Wild Goltender Philippe Gustavason has a 1–1 record and posted 2.52 GAA and a .914 save percent.
