Gold Cup: USMNT edges to go unbeaten in Group D

The second half-goal of Patrick Agamang won the US Mains National Team 2–1 over Haiti on Sunday night in Arlington, Texas, to secure the top spot in Group D of ConcacAF Gold Cup.
On June 29, the US will meet the team at another place. It will be Mexico or Costa Rica on 29 June. They play later on Sunday.
Agyemang scored his second goal of the tournament in the 75th minute, took a pass from John Tolkin and used his first touch to maneuver around goalkeeper Johnny Placide.
The US (3–0, nine points) entered the match, which had already secured a quarterfinal position, while Haiti (0–2–1, one digit) needed to win to survive.
For the seventh time, the US won all three groups in the Gold Cup.
Malik Tilman continued to make his case for a place on the 2026 World Cup roster with his third goal of the tournament in the 10th minute, but a target was given a target to Luicius Don Deedson, a wrong way by goalkeeper Matt Fras.
Tilman was on the right to the box, when he led a cross to a distant position with the authority by Brendon Aaronson.
Aaronson was one of the four changes from the lineup coach Maurisio Pocheto used in the first two matches-5–0 vs Trinidad and Tobago, and 1-0 against Saudi Arabia.
Two tricks were precautionary. Sebastian Berhalter and Diego Luna were carrying each yellow card and against the other. Haiti would mean his suspension for the quarterfinal, so he did not play.
The other replacement was Tolcin, Tyler Adams and Quin Sulivan for Jack McGlin and Max Arfaston.
After the target, the US was under control until the turnover did not occur when the defender Tim Reem passed back to the freeze. He tried to find Tolkin for a small outlet, but instead sent the ball directly to Didson, who made his shot inside the correct post.
Tilman placed the ball twice in the back of the hour mark. First, he was called for a handball and the other was offset, but did not make any difference after Egimang scored.
