Gold Cup: Tajon Buchanan, Canada Thrash Honduras

Tajon Buchanan scored two second half goals and Canada hit Honduras 6–0 in Vancouver for both sides in Vancouver on Tuesday.
Nico Sigur and Tani Oluwesi added first-half goal to the hosts before promising and Nathan Saliba scored the scoring.
The result leaves Group B of Canada after the other two teams of the group, Kuracao and Al Salvador, San Jose, played for a scorer draw in California, which was earlier on Tuesday.
Sigur scored his first goal for his country to open the scoring in the 27th minute. The 21-year-old played a sequence with Jonathan David, entering the Honduras 18-yard box, and he knocked into a right-leg shot.
Olulesi took a pass from Richie Laria and flew the 6-yard left-leg shot on Honduras goalkeeper Adric Mengever to double the lead in the first half stop time.
Buchanan (48th and 65th minutes), Akinpelu (75th minute) and Saliba (90th minute) converted the competition into a blow.
Canada will face Kuracao in Houston on Saturday before the Honduras-L Salvador matchup at the same place that day.
