Gill and Akash Deep Shine, Nair and Nitish Reddy Struggle

India had never won the match in Edgbaston, Jaspreet was without Bumrah and yet he has beaten England.
India has claimed a famous victory. After taking 0-7 records at the site, one first in Edgbaston. Below 0–1, failed to protect 371, Shubman Gill-led side has completely excluded England to level 5 matches. This has been an incredible team attempt. Five batsmen scored at least one fifty. All five frontline bowlers got at least one wicket. Two fast bowlers claimed to win by 336 runs along with 5-cicat halls.
India’s player rating for 2 Tests: batsman
Yashasvi Jaiswal, 8.5/10: 115 runs (87 and 28)
It was Jaiswal who set the basis for India’s Mammath 587-Run clan in the first innings. Shubman Gill allowed to settle for more than 46th. Jaiswal’s shot selection in the first innings was not very good and he could score a big hundred and so he did not get 10/10. In the second innings, his focus was on scoring quickly to set a big goal for England and to give them enough time to get them out.
KL Rahul, 6.5/10: 57 runs (2 and 55)
On a good batting track, Rahul failed to cash. His dismissal was avoided. Despite this, he is entitled to credit. Rahul scored a valuable fifty in the second innings. Like Jaiswal set Aadhaar in the first innings, Rahul did so in the second. He did not bat for a long time with Gill, but was enough to go to him once again.
Karun Nair, 5.5/10: 57 runs (31 and 26)
Nair was the only Indian batsman who started both times and did not kick. However, it was not complete failure. One thing he had did was that Gill, who was the best batsman in India, did not come soon. 95/2 and 96/2 were the entry points of the captain of India, and this is because Nair stayed in the middle for a long time to soften the ball and give Gill the best batting position.
Shubman Gill, 10/10: 430 runs (269 and 161)
Gill had control percentage of 93.28 and 96.50 in his two innings. Jointly, he played 32 (26 and 6) false shots in 549 balls. Even for such a pitch, it is absurd. Only one player has scored more runs in a Test match in 148 years than Gill’s 430. That was his level. India’s second best batsman after scoring 158 runs in the entire match; He scored more in his second innings alone. Words cannot describe what he did just in Edgbaston.
Rishabh Pant, 7/10: 90 runs (25 and 65)
Pants talked about pants in Edgbaston. He came out playing a ‘rash shot’ in the first innings and like a left gill trapped in the middle. He also dropped the grip of Jamie Smith when he was at 122. The missing opportunity probably scored around 80 runs to India. But then the pants were the one who started scoring quickly in the second innings, scored 65 from 58 balls and redeemed himself.
India’s player rating for 2 Tests: All -rounders
Nitish Kumar Reddy, 2/10: 2 runs (1 and 1), 0 wickets (6 overs)
Nitish Reddy would like to forget what happened in the match. In a game where his colleagues scored 1014 runs, he scored just 2 runs. He bowled a little, 6 overs, and was not very dilapidated. His bowling was also caught. but that’s about it.
Ravindra Jadeja, 10/10: 158 runs (89 and 69*), 1 wicket (over)
Jadeja along with Gill took India from 211/5 to 414/6. There was no way that India earned 587 and took a lead of 180 runs in the first innings. He got only 1 wicket but bowled extraordinary in the second innings. His bowling by KL Rahul was also dropped. He scored an unbeaten 69 runs to England with a target of 608 runs.
Washington Sundar, 8/10: 54 runs (42 and 12*), 1 wicket (20 overs)
If Jadeja saved the game, Sundar killed it for England, with Gill. His partnership with the Indian captain put the score ahead of 500. From there, visitors had the upper hand. He did not bowl badly in the first innings, but was fatal in the second innings. Before lunch, his wicket of Ben Stokes meant that India had to clean the tail only in the remaining two sessions.
India’s player rating for 2 Tests: Fast Baouler
Akash Deep, 10/10: 10 wickets (88/4 and 99/6)
Who would have thought that the replacement of Jasprit Bumrah would actually perform in this way? 10-cicat race from Pesar which did not play even in Headingly. In the first innings, Akash Deep claimed 3 of the top 5 batsmen in England. In the second innings, he met 4 out of the top 5. An excellent performance. Akash got 8 wickets with a new ball; Other pacers jointly met 7. They did not just open the game; He won it for India and even got the last wicket of the match.
Mohammad Siraj, 9/10: 7 wickets (70/6 and 57/1)
As an interim leader of India’s speed attack, Siraj took responsibility that Bumrah wanted easily. He took 6-fir in the first innings, including sending the last three players out for ducks. It was Siraj who started things in the second innings, with the wicket of Zak Croly, and from there, India did not stop.
Prasad Krishna, 5/10: 1 wicket (72/0 and 39/1)
Prasad bowled better than Sirj in the second innings, but the issue was his crisis in the first innings. He neither kept it tight nor got any wicket. But he was able to pressurize the bazball during 4 and 5 days, giving deep assistance to the sky.
