In a matchup of the top two teams, Geekay Esports defeated NTMR 3–2 to improve 7–0 on Saturday, as the week 6 opened the Overwatch Champions Series 2025-North America in Stage 2.
The team had 3–0 sweeps of Sakura Asports and Supernova respectively due to the liquid and extinction of the team.
Tournament, played online, eight teams are included. The regular-season round robin will end on Sunday, with six qualifying teams to go to the double-elimination regional playoffs.
The top three teams will move forward in the Middarson Championship and North America Stage 3. The prize money has not been fixed yet.
Geke opened with a 2–1 win over Oasis control, then NTMR assembled it 3–2 before winning 3–0 on Kings Ro Hybrid before 3–2 at Circuit Royal Escort. Even after NTMR, Runasapi Push (99.44M-94.75m) was pulled, Geekay sealed the win on New Junk City Flashpoint 3–2. Riley “Cuff” Brown, Australia’s Relay, was voted the most valuable player.
Team Liquid received Sakura Asports with victory at Oasis Control (2–1), Circuit Royal Escort (1-0) and Kings Ro Hybrid (3–2). American/Korean player Elliot “TR33” Chu of Team Liquid won the MVP honor.
Due to extinction, Supernova 2–1 on Oasis Control, 119.72M-54.15M on RunSapi Push and 2–1 on Circuit Royal Escort, American Nenvi named MVP.
