Sunrisers Hyderabad showed their batting and became a party spoiled for Lucknow super veterans as they defeated Rishabh Pants and CO in their Must-Win 2025 match on Monday. As soon as Samad came to strike, he was bowled clearly by Nitish Kumar Reddy. Seeing his last batsman rejecting, Gorn angrily exploded and broke his pad on the dressing room glass.

He then had a quick conversation with skipper Rishabh Pant, as Pesar Akash Deep ended the innings with six, taking LSG’s total 205/7 in 20 overs.
“We knew we had gaps to fill due to injuries. As a team we decided not to talk about it. But it became to shut down the gap. The way we had planned the auction, if we had the same bowling, the story would have been different.
“We have a strong batting shelling. Even for the bowlers, there were times when they were bowling in good areas. We were trying to make it the best. We knew we knew that we were ten runs. We were good in the patch but did not stop the game. [Rathi] The bowler Rathi has come out well. This is his first season. The way he bowled was good to see. Rathi is one of the positivity, “he said.
