Los Angeles Angels will work with confidence when they open a four-game chain against athletics in West Sacramento, California on Monday night.

Angels scored 23 runs during the three-market weekend sweep of Los Angeles Dojers. It marked the first three-game sweeps of Angels at the Doder Stadium since 2010.

Travis D’Rnod hit Tybreaking Solo Homer in the eighth innings of 6–4 victory over doseers on Sunday. He said that victory was important for a team which was eight games below .500 before the start of the series.

“This is very big for us,” D’Rnod said. “It shows that we can beat anyone, we can compete with someone. I think it is very important for us to move forward.”

Angels are still final in the American League West. But they now have just one game behind athletics, who have lost five straight games after three consecutive defeats for hosts San Francisco giants.

Angels manager Ron Washington wants his squad to ride a sudden speed.

Washington said, “It matters a lot when you sweep any team, not only doors, but what happened in these three days in the last three days, all credit goes to players who play very well,” Washington said. “At the end of this week we played the real good baseball. And now, we have to take it to Sacramento.”

Zach Neto and Tanner Ward were also ready for angels on Sunday. Ward 12 leads Los Angeles along with Homeers and 25 RBI. Logan O’Hope ranks second in both categories with 10 and 23 respectively.

The athletics are struggling with nine failures in 11 matches after having a solid four games before the slide.

Athletics has been excluded from 41–8 during the five-game skids, which began with the last two competitions of a road stop against Dojers before three failures in San Francisco.

After Friday opener fell 9–1 for veterans, Athletics decided 1-0 in 10 innings and suffered a shock of 3–2 on Sunday.

Athletics had just three runs and 14 hits during three matches with five additional-base hits (all couples). He left 21 runners on the base and had 3 -for -24 with runners on scoring positions.

“Our crime is still learning how to do it,” athletics manager Mark Cottage said. “It is a young group. The most experienced boy (Brent Rooker) in the lineup. Aggressively, we left for a magnificent start (this season) and we have just hit a collision in the road.”

Right-arm Jose Soriano (2-4, 3.46 ERA) will look at the six-start winning stretch on Monday when he takes a mound for angels.

Soriano defeated Tampa Bay rays on 10 April and then started his next three before receiving three direct no-deals.

The most recent of them was on Tuesday against San Diego Padress when he left with a 4–2 lead after seven innings. But Bulpen took advantage of the loss of 6-4. Both run soriano were allowed. He gave four hits.

The 26-year-old Soriano is 0–2 with a 13.50 ERA in four career appearances (two beginnings) against athletics. Sheya Langlers (3 -for -4), Rooker (3 -for -5) and Lawrence Butler (2 -for -5) each has worked against Soriano.

The right-handed jetty count (1–1, 4.61) has been slated to come out of the 15-day injured list on Monday to start for athletics.

In April, Gin made three starts for athletics before going on the shelf due to swelling of the right elbow. Guin started three rehabilitation in Triple-e Las Vegas and proceeded 1–0 with 1.26 ERA and 24 strikes in just 14 1/3 innings.
