Fresh of series win, white sox de-back tries to subdue

Arizona Diamondback will aim to continue his recent dominance of hosts Chicago White Sox on Monday in a three-game series opener.
Arizona has dating the last five series in 2014 and claimed 9-3 road records as part of its overall record of 17-7 against White Sox.
While White Sox has the highest loss in 53 in the American League, they are coming out of a weekend series victory in Toronto. Before coming to the city of Chicago, Blue Jas took two out of three from diamondback.
The 4–2 victory behind Sunday’s arrival gave Chicago to win their first series in Toronto since 2019. The Miguel Classes gave a go-two, two runs double with two runs with two outs in the eighth innings.

Smith gave six runs (five earned) and six hits in 4 1/3 innings on Tuesday as White Sox faced a 12–2 domestic route against St. Louis. This was the first time in 14 career when Smith scored more than three earned runs.
With the re -expanded comfort with Smith – the beginning of last Tuesday marked its first since June 10 – he is adjusting his vision.
Smith said, “Instead of loading the front front of the week and then left to rest the rest of the days, if I have seven days, making sure that the last half of the week still contains work and not so much recovery,” Smith said. “You are still going to do it, but making sure that there is a balance.”
The left-handed Eduardo Rodrigue (2-4, 5.93) is set to start for Arizona. He suffered losses in Toronto on Wednesday, despite the yield of only two runs (one earned) and six hits in 4 2/3 innings.
Rodriguez has allowed at least one home run in seven out of seven of its last eight and has released three walks or more out of four of the last six outings.
Rodriguez 10 career is 4–0 with 3.36 ERAs, starting in several innings with 59 strikes against White Sox.
Arizona’s Katel Mart has made 10 hits in the last four matches.
