Frederick Anderson’s Shutout Gains Conscious Wins Game 3 on Caps

Frederick Anderson recorded his first postsen shutout in five years as Carolina Storm beat Washington Capital 4–0 on Saturday afternoon in Rale, Neck, to take game 3 of its Eastern Conference semi-final series.
Anderson closed 21 shots for the storm, which took a 2–1 lead in the best seven series. Jack Roslovic scored one goal and assisted on another, while Andrei Swachicov scored his sixth goal in the playoffs. Eric Robinson and Jackson Black also scored.
Logan Thompson made 24 savings for the capitals, who could not take advantage of many initial scoring opportunities.
Like the first two matches in Washington, game 3 was contested with some shot efforts. On Saturday, the capitals enjoyed an early lead in high quality occasions. Both teams had 29 shot efforts through the second period, but Capital organized a 10–3 lead in high-scoring scoring opportunities.
Anderson, however, depended on the task as he did not shut down his fourth shutout in Postson Play. He left Alex Ovechin at first for the first time with 5:52 in front of the crease. In the next 22 seconds, Anderson stopped two ovachakin tip-in from putting it in the past. It consisted of one in a faceoff, where the capital captains used to skate through the circle and kept themselves in the slot.
However, Carolina scored from a faceoff.
While Nick Dawood of Washington won a draw in the attack area of Carolina, Swachochecov managed to defeat John Carlson and his quick snapshot made it 1-0 at 12:34 of the second period.
Roslovic, put into the lineup due to the injury to Travis Jankovsky’s game 1, scored on a power play with 1:03 to go before the second time. Roslovic then assisted Robinson’s target which survived the game with 16:46.
Blake finished scoring with 3:16 balances.
The second -period goals impure the capitals as they had only six shots in the last period. He also watched only three high-cost opportunities after the second period midway point.
Anderson’s last posts shutout came as a member of Toronto Maple Leafs in the qualifying round against Columbus Blue Jacket in 2020.
