Four Royals Pichers shut down Oriols

Chris Bubik completed five shutouts in the Royals’ 4–0 win against host Baltimore Oraols on Saturday night and three relievers completed six-hitters.

Kavan Biggio, Kyle Isbel and Vinny Paschventino all scored Solo Home runs as Royals won the 10th time in 12 matches. Maikel Garci went with a walk with 3 -for -3 and went with RBI.

Daniel Lynch IV, Lucas Ereg and John Shreyibar worked in the relief of Bubik (3-2), who gave four solo, released a walk and hit three during his 72-picch outing. Lynch entered two innings, while Ereg hit two of the four batsmen.

Gunnar Henderson had half of Baltimore hits. Oriols, which fell to 8–8 in home games, were without an additional-base hit. He joined a double play and stranded seven runners on the base.

The starter Tomoyuki Sugano (3–2) of Oriols suffered losses, giving two runs in six innings.

Royals climbed the board with two outs in Garcia’s run-scoring single at fourth place. The Cansus City was the only hit in six occasions with a runner in the scoring position.

Bigo hit his first domestic run of the season in the fifth.

Brian Baker threw a seventh innings without a scorer out of the Baltimor Bulpen, Isbel and Pasquantino shut down the serrenny Dominguase in the eighth. It was the second homer of Isbel this year and was the fifth of Passquantino.

Jonathan was a double in India, as half of the eight hits in the Canasus City went for additional hideouts.

After the Cancer City Shortstop Bobby Wit Junior started a series on a 22-game hitting streak, he moved to 0-for-4 for his second game without a hit.

The game entered the top of the second innings in the rain delay, with no scores. The play resumed after about an hour.

The teams have traded shutouts with a rubber match set for Sunday afternoon in the first two matches of the series.
