Former-Dak Coach Greg Cronin to lead AHL’s Iowa Wild

Former Anahem Duck coach Greg Cronin was named the head coach of the American Hockey League, an American Hockey League, Iowa Wilde, on Monday.
62-year-old Cronin was fired on April 19 after Duck set a record of 62–87–15 in two sessions.
He has a 38-year-old coaching experience, including stents as the head coach of two AHL clubs: Bridgeport Sound Tigers (2003-05) and Colorado Eagles (2018–23).
“We are thrilled for Greg’s Caliber coach behind the bench in Iowa,” said Iowa general manager Matt Hendrix. “He fully, expanding-oriented approaches and an extremely high understanding of hockey games. With a wide background in development and a proven track record of leading winning organizations, we are excited to bring the passion of Greg for coaching in our organization.”
Cronin was the first New York Islanders (1998–2003, 2014-18) and Toronto Maple Leafs (2011-14) as well as an NHL assistant coach for head coach at Northeastern University from 2005-11.
