Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced a prize money of Rs 10 lakh for 14-year-old growing sensation Vaibhav Suiravanshi after his record-breaking ton against Gujarat Titans at Sarai Mansingh Stadium on Monday. Suryavanshi left a permanent impression in the history of T20 format with his grand spectacle at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. The 14 -year -old, who has recently taken a child’s steps in his career, played with GT’s bowling unit, with 694 international caps.
In 14 years and 32 days, Boy Wonder, who is from Bihar, became the youngest player to score in the centenary in T20 cricket and hit a tonne in the history of the Cash-Rich League after Chris Gayle’s 30-ball heroic attempt against Pune Warriors in 2013.
Nitish congratulated Suryavanshi for his impeccable performance during the 8-vic Wait of Rajasthan and announced a prize of Rs 10 lakh from the state government on Tuesday.
