Flyers de Rasams Ristolinon (triceps) out of 6 months

Philadelphia Flyer Defenseman Rasams Ristolinon will be out after surgery for a broken triceps tendon for at least six months, the team announced on Thursday.
Ristolainon, who missed the final 16 matches of the regular season with upper body injury, processed on 26 March and will be sidelined through the training camp.
Dr. Neil Eltreche underwent surgery in Los Angeles and Ristolannon is expected to recover completely, in a statement by Flyers General Manager Daniel Brere.
The 30-year-old Ristolainon recorded 19 points (four goals, 15 assistance) in 63 matches in 2024-25. There are 304 points (56 goals, 248 aids) in 776 career games with Buffalo Sabers (2013–21) and Flyers.
In 2013, Buffalo drafted the Finland native with the eighth overall pick.
