The team said Ketleen Clarke, the star guard of Indiana fever, would return to the lineup against New York Liberty 9–0 in Indianapolis on Saturday afternoon.
The 23 -year -old Clarke recalled the last five matches with a left quad strain during the last meeting with defending champion Liberty on 24 May.
Indiana went away 2-3 without Clarke, 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Roukie which is 19.0 points, 9.3 aid and 6.0 rebounds in four matches this season.
Clarke posted a double-dobbal in New York last month with 18 points and 10 assistance in the loss of 90-88.
The number 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, Clarke earned the All-Star and All-WNBA honor in 2024 and set a league record with 337 assistance while playing all 40 games.
Except for a shock, fever coach Stephanie White told reporters on Friday that Guard Sophie Cunningham is also likely to be available on Saturday. He has played only four games this season due to an ankle injury.
