Fever in search of bounce-back performance, Aces square

In his third game from a quad injury, Ketleen Clarke was the only issue for Indiana fever on Thursday night.
Meanwhile, a night later, a return to Aja Wilson with a consent resulted in another loss for the Las Vegas Aces.
The two teams seeking a bounce-back performance meet together on Sunday afternoon when the fever visits the aces, which is trying to avoid the fourth straightforward loss.
Indiana (6-6) is 2–1 as Clarke returned from the disappearance of five games with a quad injury. Clarke scored 32 runs during his return against New York Liberty on 14 June and ended with 20 in a 17 -point win over Connectic Sun on Tuesday.
On Thursday, the fever could not hold the first quarter lead of its nine points and the expansion Golden State Volcaries lost 88–77. Clarke reduced his season with 11 points, shot 3 -14 from the ground and recalled all of his 3 -point attempts.
Indiana especially struggled in the fourth quarter, dropped out of 33–18, and fever was excluded from 50–33 after a hastime.
“It’s not about Cataline, in particular,” said Indiana guard Kelcy Michelle. “Our whole group was soft. They made us stronger due to hardening. Fifty-fifty balls, deflections, passing lanes. We allowed it. We have allowed our tail to the aggression side tonight and it is our collapse.”
ACES was excluded by a joint 27 points in three deficit of Phoenix Mercury, Minnesota Links and Seattle Storm. Las Vegas has dropped five of their last six matches after starting 4–2.
Wilson returned from his consent and collected 20 points and 14 rebounds in 34 minutes, but also did seven turnover. Jackie Young led the Aces with 22 points, but Las Vegas was dropped from 52–38 after Haftime.
Wilson said, “I feel good.” It’s unacceptable at my end, so I would be better on Sunday. “
