Fenway Park concession workers go on strike for the first time in the history of the site

Concession activists have voted for the first time in the history of the venue at the home venue of Boston Red Sox in Fenway Park, announced on Sunday.
Red Sox is hosting New York Yanki in the final game of the three-game series today.
Following the three-day vote, 95 percent of the membership of Union Unite associated with the team’s seller Aramark, more than 1,000 employees in Fenway, as well as to authorize them in nearby MGM Music Hall.
In 113 years of history, the site did not see a concession employee strike.
Employees are working without a contract since 2024. They are interacting to get an hourly salary increase – Fenway workers earn less than $ 20 per hour – as well as a limit on better timeliness and automation based on seniority, which affects suggestions.
