In the second half, Anderson Julio’s target also pulled the FC Dallas and save Marton Pace’s time late, thus a 1-1 draw with a short-hand real Salt Lake with a short-hand Real Salt Lake in a Western conference match in Texas.
FC Dallas (4-4-4, 16 points) is still looking for the winning formula at home, falling on its pitch 1-3-1 in 2025. Meanwhile, Real Salt Lake (4-7-1, 13 points) settled for the first time in this season and scored just four points in his last five matches.
The draw was the sixth in the last eight matches among the teams at the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplax.
The RSL was an aggressive side from the opening kickoff, as Alexandros Catranis produced the first scoring opportunity of the match when he tested Dallas goalkeeper pace from outside the box in the second minute.
Salt Lake broke in the 24th minute. The shots of Dioogo Gonclaves were knocked from the center of the box by Dallas defender Osaaz Uroghyide, but Ribound found its way to RSL’s Diego Luna. Luna draped the ball from his left side and excluded a trio of defenders before a powerful, twisted shot, curl inside the left post to give visitors a 1-0 lead.
The Dallas went into half without a shot on the target, but produced equal in the 53rd minute. Julio, a former Salt Lake Stallwart, was swept away from the right sideline and took the ball into the zone deeply near the near post before opening a shot, which defeated RSL keeper Rafael Cabral to the lower right of the net.
Salt Lake was forced to play a man for the last 22 minutes and was time to stop after flying the pace at Golmoth, William Agada and assessed his second yellow card of the match.
Despite playing with just 10 men, RSL continued to attack, as Gonclaves then dominic Markzuk saved the pace in the 73rd and 88th minutes respectively, allowing the domestic side to divide the points on the real shot with PES stop.
