Paul Scans got the best performance of a pitching shodown with nine strikeouts in the 6 1/3 scoring innings and Visiting Pittsburg Pirates opened a three-game series against Los Angeles Dojers with a 3–0 win.
Onil Cruise hit an RBI single and scored in the fifth innings of two runs as the Pirates improved the six-game road trip 3–1, which began with a series win over Los Angeles Angels.
Schins (3-2) gave five hits with no foot on a career-high 108 pitches, as they excluded the right-handed Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who entered the 18-inning scoreless Streak.

Doseers had a major scoring opportunity in the fourth innings, when Freddy Freeman led a double and moved up to third place on an error in the play, but when the scaints excluded Tommy Edman and the Tosser Hernandez was stuck when the scan was thrown out of the Tosser Hernandez before taking out Will Smith.
Pittsburgh made it 3–0 in the fifth when Cruise gave a run-scoring single to 117.6 MPH RBI Single to Right and K’Brian Hayes. Cruz was first examined for injury on his right side, but remained in the game.
Ryan Boruki and former Doser Danis Santana jointly took the ninth part of his second save for 1 2/3 innings for 1 2/3 innings for Pittsburgh for 1 2/3 innings of scorer relief.
