Atlanta Falcons Tight End Kyle Pitts is working through an unknown injury, coach Rahm Morris said on Monday.
The 24 -year -old pits are entering the final year of their contract and their absence from the practice sessions that were open to the media last week raised questions about a possible holdout.
Morris placed those rumors on bed, at least for now, because Falcons started their second week of voluntary OTA practices.
Morris said, “Right now is very cautious with Kyel and what he is doing.” “Obviously, do not talk about injuries in this time of the year, but definitely be cautious with him, so you will not see him. He is here, he has done such a good job. … he is in everything that we have done other than the field, and he is absolutely outstanding.”
The fourth draft was done in 2021, the pits made a pro bowl and received 1,000 as a crook at a distance of 1,000, but have been unable to match that production since then.
He caught 602 yards in 17 matches in the previous season and 47 passes for career-high for touchdown, making his career a total of 196 receptions for 2,651 yards and 10 for 10 TDS in 61 Games (55 Starts).
The pits have to earn $ 10.878 million in 2025, playing on the fifth year option of their crook deal.
