‘Fake’ Vaibhav Suryavanshi reacts to Sachin Tendulkar’s praise, stumped by unknown fans




The 14 -year -old Kautuk of Rajasthan Royals, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, left the entire Jaipur crowd, broke several records and inspired his team to win to win the IPL 2025 match against the Titans of Gujarat on Monday. Chasing the target of 210, RR always dominated the game as the teenage batsman stood longer against GT’s deadly bowling lineup and became the fastest Indian Centurion in IPL history, which reached there in just 35 balls. As a result, the hosts crossed the line in only 15.5 overs and lived in the playoff race.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi also broke a huge world record. He is now the youngest (14 years, 32 days) to score a ton in the T20 format. However, this early fame also had a negative impact as Suryavanshi’s fake profiles went viral on X (East Twitter).

This account was a picture of Suryavanshi in RR’s jersey as a profile picture of @vaibhavofficia and a profile picture. As the young opener made history on the field, the account went viral and quickly received a large number of followers and likes. However, the number of followers increased rapidly after the user responded to India’s legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar’s wish.

Praising Suryavanshi for Nock, Sachin took the X and wrote, “Vaibhav’s fearless attitude, bats, lift the length quickly, and transfer the energy behind the ball. The recipe behind a brilliant innings. Final result: 101 runs away from 38 balls. Well played !!”

Responding to Sachin’s wish, the user wrote, “Thank you very much sir. This is a dream that I have praised.

As soon as this post went viral, X decided to take an action and warned other users about misinformation.

The X listed the three reasons for the account to be a fake. “1. not after Rajasthan Royals (they follow all their players). 2. Using ‘Officers’, the account handle, professional accounts to avoid such names. 3. All tweets and north arose on April 28, which is likely to have a farm engagement.” Read this.

Talking about Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the young batsman crossed the previous record held by former India all -rounder Yusuf Pathan (37 balls, 37 balls for Rajasthan Royals vs. Mumbai Indians in 2010). Suryavanshi is also the youngest Centurion in IPL history (14 years, 32 days), crossing Manish Pandey (19 years 253 days, Royal Challengers Bangalore vs for Deccan Chargers in 2009).

Overall, it is the second fastest ton in the IPL, which was reduced by Chris Gayle’s 30 -ball knock for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors in 2013.
