Kenya’s World Cord holder Vishwas Kipayagan on Thursday reduced her attempt to be the first woman to run a four-minute mile at a demonstration program in Paris on Thursday, although she still defeats her record time.

“It’s only a matter of time that I think it will come in our way,” he continued. “If this is not me, it will be someone else. I know one day, once, a woman will run at the age of four. I will not lose hope. I will still go for it. I hope I will get one day, once.”
The four -minute mile is distinguished in running, with the first acquired in 1954 by Roger Banister of Great Britain.
