Extend partnership with NBA, WNBA 2K video game

The NBA and WNBA agreed in principle for a multi-year global partnership expansion with 2K video games, the League on Friday announced.

In addition, 2K agreed in principle to expand its relationship with NBA G League and USA basketball.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said in a statement, “NBA 2K has rapidly attached a new generation of basketball fans to the digital world.” “By expanding its partnership and creating NBA Tech-Two Media, we are ready to manufacture at the incredible success of the NBA 2K franchise.”

Boston Celtics adorned Jason Tatam, Las Vegas Aces Star Aja Wilson and veteran Vince Carter adorned the NBA 2K25 series cover of the video game.

The Tatam was on the cover of the standard version, Wilson represented the WNBA version of the game and Carter served as the face of the Hall of Fame version.
