England’s name squad for the West Indies series; No discount for IPL 2025 players

The England Cricket Board (ECB) has announced its squad for the upcoming White-Ball series against the West Indies, which currently not given any discounts to the players participating in IPL 2025. The three-match ODI series is scheduled to begin on May 29, followed by June 6. For national duty, potentially recalls the IPL playoffs.
England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) initially issued any objection certificate (NOC) to the players till May 25 in the IPL till 25 May. Although the tournament has now been expanded till June 3, ECB has confirmed that these NOCs will not be modified, ensuring complete availability for the West Indies series. This step confirms England’s commitment to give priority to international fixtures on franchise cricket.
The squad took Harry Brook as England’s new white-ball captain, replacing Jose Butler. The ODI squad consists of prominent players such as Jofra Archer, Joe Root, Adil Rashid and Jamie Olerton, while the T20I squad consists of Phil Salat, Rehan Ahmed and Liam Dawson.
