How do you feel about Team India’s preparation for the upcoming testing series against England?
The main attraction of Monday’s session, Arshdeep revealed, was gaining rhythm with a red ball. He explained, “The main goal of today’s training was to join a rhythm, to feel how the body is responding, and how the red ball is being released by hand because all the players are playing with white ball for a while,” he explained. “It was very fun. As we continue, intensity will increase, making it more challenging for the batsmen.,Arshdeep also highlighted the competition during the net session, praising the batsmen. “It was pleasant with the batsmen; they were quite compact. We had to work hard with a proper plan to try and take them out. [Sudharsan] It looked solid. The skipper was good. I will try to continue this banquet and aim to take them out several times, “he said.
Asked about working with Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep humbled with politely: “Whenever I hold the ball, I think I think ‘I am the best.” But everyone knows that when you are in an attack with a player like Bumrah, there is no place for comparison.India’s training included drills for Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Mohammad Sirj and Ravindra Jadeja, with fielding coaches T Dilip also led a fast catcker session. With the Test series promising a new era in Indian red-ball cricket, preparations can prove to be priceless in the calm of Kent.
