East-Indian Star Slams Virat Kohli’s dismissal vs. PBKS: “It would have been thought that it was a six-over game”

Except for Tim David and Rajat Patidar, it was a poor batting performance at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday in their IPL 2025 match against Punjab Kings from Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB can post only 95 for 95 in 14 overs, receiving an invitation to bat first. Tim David scored 50 not out of 26 balls, while Patidar scored 18 runs. All the RCB batsmen scored in the Sinningal points as the side finished the game by losing by 5 wickets. It was a difficult pitch to bat and the additional-invasive approach to the RCB batsmen was backfired. He ended the total posting that failed PBK in trouble.
Whatever was bad for RCB was that an experienced and reliable batsmen like Virat Kohli also came out for a big shot, even without the very necessary respect for the conditions.
Former India player Mohammad Kaif criticized RCB batsmen including Kohli for his shot selection, who saw him losing his wickets in the game.
“84 delivery in an innings means the time. The shot that Virat Kohli hit, moving forward, trying to attack a six, he usually does not do all this. If it was a 20 -over game, Kohli would have seen to punch the ball, I can tell you that with guarantee,” Kaif told Star Sports.
“It was a ball that could be punched through the point. But because it was a 14-over game, a lot of attacker brands of cricket were tempted to play. The pitch was moist, the ball was a little stopping. It was a pitch. It was a pitch. It should have taken five or six balls to keep a look. Six over games,” he said.
PBK produced an inch bowling attempt, the foundation stone of his five-wicket win over RCB in a trunk match.
Tim David scored more than 95 runs after an evening of nine for nine for nine for RCB’s score nine, causing the match to start the match in 14 overs per side avatar at 9.45 pm.
The Punjab Kings initially had to undergo mild intimidation, but overtook the line in 12.1 overs with a score of five in 12.1 overs, with the RCB waiting for his first victory at home this season.
