Earthquake f ousseni bouda signal expansion

San Jose Earthquake Forward Oceney Bowda signed a contract expansion on Friday which spread through the 2027 season.

Financial conditions were not disclosed by earthquakes, which have a club option on the deal through 2028.

“Boda continues to grow as an attacker player,” said Bruce Arena, the earthquake sports director and head coach. “He is an excellent team partner and professional, and we look forward to his contribution over the next few years.”

The 25 -year -old Bowda has collected three goals and one assistance during this season appearing in all 18 MLS matches (seven starts).

“This is a proud moment for my family and me,” said Boda. “I am eager to keep growing in my personal career and with this team that is only getting better. I want to thank Bruce, their employees and the entire earthquake organization to believe in me and to continue to play for them and thank the best fans in Major League football.”

Boda has scored a total of five goals and is a assistance in 54 career matches (10 starts), as San Jose has been selected by San Jose with the eighth overall pick of 2022 MLS Superdures out of Stanford.
